Wow, so glad to see an article about seed breeding! Have you heard about Culinary Breeding Network and the Variety Showcases? Lane Selman is doing great stuff in this space and is also not-for-profit!

Hey! This is great! AND… wanted to bring some awareness to the Culinary Breeding Network and the work of Lane Selman in Portland, OR. She has been doing the work of bringing chefs together with seed breeders and farmers for decades, and has made a real change in the west coast of the USA. She was doing it before celebrity chefs were ;) and does it with lots of community support. Please check out the Culinary Breeding Network & events - they’re awesome and as more of us learn every year… FLAVOR BEGINS WITH SEED! ❤️

This is great to see more about seeds and plant breeding and flavor. I've participated in the the Variety Showcase in Portland and the Seed to Table event in Madison Wisconsin both in partnership with the Culinary Breeding Network who has been pioneering work with chef's and plant breeders for years.
